Only in the Czech language. The Golden Lions restaurant rating is a project of the TopLife Czech publishing house. Since 2010, inspectors have been mapping and awarding the best in domestic gastronomy every year. Based on inspections that evaluate cuisine, service, atmosphere and overall experience, selected establishments receive the prestigious Golden Lion award.


 Each restaurant is repeatedly visited and rated by independent inspectors who work in complete anonymity – as “secret guests”. Businesses never know when they will come, or who exactly is rating them. It is this yearbook that brings the latest results of the consistent and objective rating, which has earned the reputation of a respected authority and valuable inspiration for all lovers of quality gastronomy.


 The Golden Lion system represents the highest recognition in the field of gastronomy – from one Golden Lion for excellent restaurants, to two Golden Lions for a stable top, to three Golden Lions, a symbol of a gastronomic gem comparable to the best European establishments. The special award of TIP inspectors draws attention to exceptional talents and new hopes of the Czech gastronomic scene.
