About the restaurant
Na Spilce Restaurant is located in the historic premises of the former fermentation cellars of the Plzeňský Prazdroj brewery and is considered one of the largest brewery restaurants in the Czech Republic. Since its opening in 1992, it has gained a reputation as a place where traditional Czech cuisine combines with a modern concept and quality beer straight from the source.
The restaurant's kitchen is staffed by head chefs Jakub Spíral and Daniel Potužák. Jakub, who grew up in the Bohemian Forest, brings to the kitchen a love of Czech gastronomy and a passion for pairing food with beer and wine. Daniel, with extensive experience in the Pilsen and Prague gastronomic scenes, has been involved in culinary arts since the age of 15 and has been loyal to Spilac since its inception.
The restaurant's menu offers a wide selection of dishes prepared with honest ingredients from local suppliers, including specialties such as beer goulash, beef ribs with beer sauce and homemade sourdough bread. It is served with excellently treated Pilsner Urquell beer tapped directly from the tank, including an unfiltered version.
