ARRIGŌ

Marek Šterner
The ARRIGŌ restaurant is located in the center of Děčín, just a few steps from Masaryk Square and the Elbe embankment. It is part of the modern ARMEX LiveCentrum complex, where guests will also find a four-star hotel, fitness center, solarium and bakery. Thanks to its friendly atmosphere, professional service and elegant interior, it has become a popular place not only for tourists heading to Bohemian Switzerland, but also for local clients. Guests visit it for family celebrations, weddings, company parties and regular meetings with friends.
The ARRIGŌ cuisine is based on a European style, in which the influences of French, Italian and Czech gastronomy blend. However, there are also modern elements such as Hawaiian Pokebowl or fresh oysters. The à la carte menu is completely changed every three months to reflect the rhythm of nature and the seasonal availability of ingredients. The Josper grill plays an important role, on which meat, fish and seafood are prepared. The team cooperates with local and German suppliers and places great emphasis on quality.
The restaurant boasts not only generous spaces, but also a wide range of options. Guests can find breakfasts, afternoon teas, experiential dinners and evenings with wine or cocktails. ARRIGŌ has its own bakery and café and has long offered wine pairings, which have been newly enhanced by a dedicated sommelier.
The chef Marek Šterner, a prominent figure in contemporary Czech gastronomy, is behind the kitchen. Cooking was not his childhood dream – at that time he preferred sports. The decision came only with the choice of hotel school, where he was enchanted by the atmosphere of the kitchen and the culinary craft. He gained professional knowledge in prestigious Czech and foreign companies, where he learned classic and modern recipes and techniques, discipline and respect for ingredients. Thanks to this experience, he is also used to working with exclusive ingredients, such as foie gras, truffles, lobster, seafood or special types of fish. He personally enjoys slow cooking, working with time and temperatures, and imaginatively combining flavors and textures. He likes to start from traditional recipes, which he changes and elevates to a new level in his own way.
For Marek Šterner, not only honesty and respect for ingredients are essential, but also teamwork. He emphasizes that chemistry must work in the kitchen between everyone – from the dishwasher to the chef de partie. According to him, it is only thanks to a well-coordinated team that it is possible to offer guests a unique gastronomic experience.
Today, ARRIGŌ represents modern gastronomy with an emphasis on quality, creativity, and a welcoming atmosphere. ARRIGŌ is also a place that connects gastronomy with the community – it teaches the young generation, inspires new businesses in the region, and proves that Děčín can boldly place itself on the map of the Czech fine dining scene.
