In a quiet part of Luhačovice, just a ten-minute walk from the spa colonnade, is the AuGUSTO restaurant, which is part of the Wellness & Spa Hotel Augustiniánský dům. The historic building by the forest offers an elegant interior with a view of the Garden of Six Senses and invites guests to sit in any season. The atmosphere is calm, harmonious and ideal for moments of relaxation.
The cuisine is based on experiential gastronomy inspired by international flavors and Czech classics in a modern concept. The menu changes three times a year to best reflect the seasonal availability of ingredients.
Guests will find Mediterranean and traditional dishes in a light form, always prepared from fresh and local ingredients.
AuGUSTO emphasizes that every visit is a small holiday. Guests can choose between two gourmet directions - "Mediterranean taste" and "Traditional taste", both variants in the form of a three-course menu. The atmosphere is underlined by a carefully compiled wine list, which includes Moravian and world wines and the own AuGUSTO Prosecco, which has become a popular addition to local dishes.
The restaurant also prepares special events - in the summer, for example, barbecues with live music every Wednesday and Saturday, and during the Advent period it invites you to the traditional Augustinian punch, the aroma of which is cinnamon, cloves and homemade gingerbread, which completes the festive atmosphere.
Behind the kitchen is the head chef Karel Musial, for whom gastronomy is a lifelong passion. He was inspired by his mother and great-grandmother as a child, his parents owned a restaurant and he has been able to perceive how food brings people together since he was a child. He trained at a gastronomic school in Zlín and gained essential experience in a French restaurant in London, where endless shifts and hard work taught him respect for craft and discipline.
Today, he tries to convey honesty and joy through his work at AuGUSTO. “The most important things for me are quality, respect and joy – three ingredients without which our cuisine would not exist. I want our guests to feel that every dish is prepared with heart,” says Karel Musial.
