Chef Miroslav Lojda is behind the kitchen, who got into the craft thanks to inspiration from the surroundings and decided to devote himself fully to cooking while studying at the SOU in Braník. He gained experience in Prague hotels and abroad, and worked for two years in a four-star hotel in England, which he considers a crucial period in his professional life. Today, he runs the Columna kitchen with the goal of ensuring that each dish is not only tasty but also visually appealing, thus affecting all of the guest's senses.
According to him, the restaurant's success is based on a well-coordinated team: "These days, it's hard to keep up with the competition, which is why all members of our team are constantly educating themselves, following trends, and above all, we strive to ensure that our guests are happy to return. A satisfied customer is our greatest reward."
The menu is complemented by a wide range of Moravian and foreign wines from France, Italy, Austria, Spain, Portugal, and Argentina, which underline the international character of the restaurant.
