The stylish country restaurant Dvůr Hoffmeister can be found in the picturesque village of Číčovice, just 15 kilometers from the center of Prague and eight kilometers from Václav Havel Airport. The complex includes a family hotel, where each room has a unique character. The atmosphere of the place is completed by a covered outdoor terrace, a rustic barn suitable for weddings and celebrations, and stables for horses. The artistic dimension of the establishment is underlined by paintings by Adolf Hoffmeister.
The cuisine is based on Czech and French gastronomy using high-quality, mainly local ingredients. The chef and his team let the natural taste of the ingredients stand out, complement them with distinctive sauces and sometimes even experiment. The menu includes not only traditional dishes, but also non-traditional ingredients, such as groats, suet or marrow, processed into an attractive form. In addition to the regular menu, the restaurant also prepares weekend theme menus and tasting menus with wine pairings.
Dvůr Hoffmeister remains true to the philosophy of the family business: a personal approach, creativity and an emphasis on the rural atmosphere form the basis of the whole experience.
Karel Rosenheim started cooking in elementary school, when he first prepared pancakes and scrambled eggs. He received his professional education in Prague and during his internship he experienced the contrast between the environment of an unattractive kitchen and a five-star hotel, where he decided that gastronomy was his path.
He gained experience in leading Prague establishments - restaurants Na Kopci and Cowboy’s Restaurant (Kampa Group). He is inspired by prominent culinary personalities such as Alain Ducasse, Marco Pierre White and Sean Brock, who, according to him, have moved the world of gastronomy one step further.
Since June 2022, he has been working as a chef at Dvůr Hoffmeister. In the environment of a former farmhouse and stables, he has managed to combine a rural atmosphere with a modern concept of cuisine. “Our goal is simple: the customer must leave satisfied,” he sums up his philosophy.
