Greenhouse

Alexandr Vraný
Greenhouse is a new culinary concept in the five-star Fairmont Golden Prague hotel, which combines grill, beer, an informal atmosphere and a view of Prague Castle. The entrance itself from Dvořák Embankment feels like a transition from the bustling city to a green oasis. The interior in natural tones is complemented by a copper bar, an open kitchen and a spacious terrace, from which one of the most beautiful views of Prague opens.
The cuisine is based on fresh and seasonal ingredients. Guests can taste grilled steaks, slow-roasted ribs, aged duck breast with crispy skin or original tartare - made from meat and tomatoes. Also popular is homemade smoked salmon or vegetarian variations such as roasted cauliflower with truffle. The sweet spot is modernly conceived Czech classics - honey cake, pinwheel or vegan carrot cake.
Chef Alexandr Vraný is behind the kitchen, who has been involved in gastronomy since childhood. He received his professional education at the hotel school in Klánovice and gained significant experience at the Hilton Prague, where he worked in all the operations. He drew further inspiration from Michelin-starred restaurants in London and Paris, such as Galvin at Windows or Gordon Ramsay au Trianon. His culinary philosophy is based on a combination of quality ingredients and honest craftsmanship - only their harmony brings a perfect result. The motto he follows is: "Perfect preparation = perfect enjoyment." Greenhouse has thus become an establishment that attracts not only hotel guests, but also the general public. It is a place where modern gastronomy meets an informal atmosphere and a unique view, and which proves that even in the center of Prague you can find a peaceful oasis full of taste.
