La Villa is an experiential restaurant that sensitively combines the charm of Hugo Vavrečka's First Republic villa with modern gastronomy. Surrounded by tall pine trees, the villa feels like a peaceful oasis in the middle of Zlín and its atmosphere is also transferred to the guests' plates.
During the day, a lunch menu is served here in the relaxed style of a French bistro, and in the evening the premises are transformed into an elegant fine dining scene with a touch of French art de vivre. La Villa is renowned for its distinctive, long-reduced sauces based on honest demi glace, original appetizers and fish specialties.
The restaurant offers a seasonal à la carte, the popular Le Pin tasting menu with wine pairings and special evenings dedicated to specific themes. The strong point is the wine list, which draws from the world's main wine regions and includes both well-known wineries and rare and less accessible bottles. The interiors, refined with paintings and art installations, such as a light work by Lasvit, underline the unique character of the place.
Chef Július Löffler has been at the helm of the kitchen since 2018. His culinary philosophy is based on high-quality ingredients, freshness and seasonality. He draws inspiration from French methods – an emphasis on detail, respect for ingredients and precise techniques.
The chef’s journey to gastronomy began in the family – his father was a chef and a role model for Július. He himself trained in Zlín, where he worked in a school canteen, a castle restaurant and the Interhotel Moskva, which gave him a solid foundation in the field. After his studies, he worked in several major companies in the Zlín region. His style is characterized by creativity, sensitive processing of traditional recipes and the ability to elevate them to a modern form.
