The NUTREND WORLD restaurant is part of the eponymous hotel and wellness complex in Olomouc, which offers the largest fitness zone in Moravia. It opened in 2018 as a project of the Czech company NUTREND, known for its long-standing focus on a healthy lifestyle and nutrition. A natural continuation of this philosophy was to also offer guests top-notch gastronomy.
The menu is based on fresh seasonal ingredients and offers an à la carte selection, a lunchtime business menu and regular monthly events. Sunday brunches and themed tasting evenings, which combine Czech and international cuisine, have become very popular. Chef Radek Pajer is behind the kitchen, who was led to cooking in his childhood by his fascination with how simple ingredients can be transformed into something that pleases people. He received his professional education at a gastronomic school in Olomouc, but he gained his most valuable experience through practice. Each environment has enriched him – sometimes with precision, sometimes with inspiration for modern methods.
He has been working at NUTREND WORLD since its opening in 2018, and his vision from the beginning was to show that healthy food does not have to be boring. He combines honest tradition with modern methods and emphasizes the quality of ingredients and his own signature. “Food should awaken emotions and bring people joy. That is a paradise of flavors for me,” says Radek Pajer.
