Restaurant u Eichlerů can be found on Plynárenská Street in Všebořice, a part of the city of Ústí nad Labem. The modern interior is cozy, tastefully furnished and built on natural materials and clean lines. There is also a covered outdoor terrace with seating and a children's playground. The restaurant also includes a lounge with a capacity of up to 49 people, ideal for weddings, corporate events or family celebrations.
The basic philosophy of the restaurant is modern Czech cuisine in an honest concept, based on freshness and quality ingredients from local suppliers. The menu changes regularly and is complemented by a tasting menu inspired by fine dining.
Desserts from the restaurant's own pastry shop and homemade pastries also play an important role - from toast and sourdough bread to burger buns. A new feature is the offer of its own products in jars, such as pulled meat, pâtés, utopian cakes, cheeses or sausages, which guests can take home along with homemade bread.
The restaurant is also actively involved in socially responsible activities – it cooks meals for charities and expands its catering services. Its work has been repeatedly awarded the Golden Lion by the TopLife Czech publishing house, which confirms the high standard of quality.
The concept is led by chef and owner Jiří Eichler. His greatest inspiration since childhood was his grandmother's kitchen, where he learned to appreciate honest recipes and tastes. His professional passion fully developed in high school, when he participated in gastronomic competitions and completed internships in leading companies. He studied cooking at the Secondary School of Crafts and Services in Děčín and, thanks to his master Lenko Opavová, he made it to the junior National Team of Chefs and Confectioners of the AKC ČR.
He gained his first experience at the Pivovar Monopol restaurant in Teplice, then worked in Germany at the Bei Zwilling restaurant and in Prague he worked in top companies, such as Zdeněk Pohlreich's Café Imperial or Aureola under the leadership of Jiří Král. He also completed internships at Paloma Průhonice, Next Door by Imperial and the Michelin restaurant Alcron. In the spring of 2023, he fulfilled his dream and opened his own business, U Eichlerů, with his wife, where he specializes in modern Czech cuisine. "My goal is to create a place where guests feel good and return not only for the food, but also for the atmosphere and care."
