The Radosti Winery (formerly Víno Šílová) restaurant is located in the heart of Mikulov at Vídeňská 237/5, in a historic building that used to be a butcher shop. Today, guests are welcomed by a modern environment with one of the most beautiful views of the city's landmark - the Holy Hill. The tranquility of the countryside is combined with the elegance of contemporary design, creating an ideal backdrop for experiential gastronomy.
The cuisine is based on the legacy of Czech-Moravian tradition, which the team led by chef Adam Hráček serves in a modern way. Guests will find dishes that evoke the tastes of their childhood, but are prepared with nobility and attention to detail. "We want to show people ordinary dishes in a way they would never have imagined they could be served," says Adam Hráček. Food in the restaurant is closely connected to wine - it not only accompanies the dishes when pairing, but also plays a role in the recipes themselves.
The atmosphere is completed by professional, yet friendly service, which makes guests feel relaxed and welcome as if they were at home. The uniqueness of the place is underlined by the tasting cellar in the courtyard, where architectural charm is combined with the art of gastronomy and winemaking. The wines of the hotel's own production are available both with meals and for purchase at home.
Chef Adam Hráček got into cooking thanks to his grandmother, who inspired him with her love for classic Czech cuisine. He graduated from a hotel school in South Moravia and gained valuable experience during six years in Austria. Nevertheless, Moravian cuisine remains his passion, which he returned to fully after returning home. "For me, the most important thing is a well-coordinated team, good people around you and quality ingredients. We can always adapt the rest to our own image," he sums up his philosophy.
