Zlatá Praha

Maroš Jambor
Located on the rooftop of the five-star Fairmont Golden Prague hotel, Zlatá Praha restaurant continues a glorious tradition dating back to 1974. It offers guests a unique combination of fine dining and panoramic views of Prague’s historic center, creating an unforgettable experience.
The cuisine, led by chef Maroš Jambor, combines modern techniques with Central European traditions. The menu is seasonal, and guests can choose from both a classic tasting menu and a purely plant-based option. Each course is a small story about nature, craftsmanship, and innovation.
Creative combinations are typical – from smoked carrot tartare to poached sturgeon to sophisticated desserts that complement the wines carefully selected for each course.
The restaurant’s interior continues the magic of autumn Prague. Restored chandeliers by Hugo Demartini evoke the sun, the gold paint on the walls resembles rays passing through the forest, and the walnut floor underfoot is colored leaves. Every detail is thought out to complement the unique atmosphere and views of the Old Town. Chef Maroš Jambor draws on his experience from Michelin-starred restaurants in London and New York, such as Gordon Ramsay, Sketch and Eleven Madison Park. He brings to Zlatá Praha precise organization, an emphasis on craftsmanship and discipline, which he considers the key to maintaining a high standard. His motto is “less is more” – using only enough components so that the result makes sense and the taste itself stands out.
Zlatá Praha is thus more than a restaurant – it is a symbol of the connection of history, gastronomy and an exceptional location above the roofs of the city.
